Default seat wear due to track driving?

Is it possible that the driver seat can wear out possibly due to track driving and the high lateral forces resulting from it? My seat seems to have developed a tiny bit of sideways play in it and a small squeaking sound occasionally happens when taking corners. I double checked the bolts that hold it to the car and they're all tight. I think the play is within the seat frame itself. It's barely noticeable except occasionally when making sharp turns.

If you're talking about the cushion itself, you're more likely wear them out going in an out of the car a lot, like a lot of track events.

Depending on the amount of G-force you're pushing on your car, it may be possible.

I know when I had my bucket seat on my other car, I decided to make it fixed position because it did again when I had the slider to move forward and back.

You mean the bolts holding the seat to the car, or are there any bolts within the seat itself? I tightened my seat bolts so they shouldn't be the problem. Maybe I should check them again.

I had just fixed this over the weekend.

Start with doing the tsb, but just hammer in the stock star washers first.
You may not need the new pair.

I didn't see a TSB for the ECU whine. Kenchan, I remember you mentioning that there is one somewhere.

Found some info here. Go me.

So if you have a clicking noise in your seat from it shifting, can i bring it in to the dealer to let them fix it? Is there a charge?

i used an impact 21mm socket + adapter and a hammer to pound at the star washer, not the rod itself. there is one on each side of the seat. i saw my star washer go in (tighten) 0.7mm. the door side you can hammer in without seat removal, but the center console side you will have to unscrew the 4 screws mounting the seat to the floor.
