I remember it being pretty tight but I was able to get it off with just a philip head...just had to make sure it fit perfectly or it would've stripped.

I remember it being pretty tight but I was able to get it off with just a philip head...just had to make sure it fit perfectly or it would've stripped.
Maybe try using an electric impact drill?
