GT-R shift knob on 7AT +pics

Maybe instead of cutting to lower just put and nice leather or suede boot.

That would be my thought.
not sure however you are probably right in that it's threaded (rather than just a slide off and clip)

I ended up not cutting the stick and doing an oem 370z manual shift boot with the GTR shift knob.
