The other link says that the car can be waxed just like you already do and doesn't even make mention of not using a carnuba-based wax.

My installer also recommended Turtle Wax Ice, but I'm not really a fan of it for my car in general. I am trying to understand the chemical differences between Ice and, say Meguire's NXT synthetic wax.
My installer said NXT would be fine ..... I use it on my car as well. He did recommend I wait a few weeks for the product to settle and all the moisture to escape, as it was cloudy and not too hot yet when he installed it. Temps hit 90 today. Has been warm for a week now. I will probably do the nose this weekend with NXT. I'll post my results, but don't expect any problems. BTW, in researching ventureshield, I read quite a few forum posts at other car sites, Corvette, G's, Audi, Porsche, and NXT was used by some of those guys with no issues as well.
