Thanks, SoCal! I did find both of these documents, but I didn't find them very helpful. The manufacturers of VentureShield, not surprisingly, only recommend Plexus, regardless of whatever other brand might be effective.
The other link says that the car can be waxed just like you already do and doesn't even make mention of not using a carnuba-based wax. My installer also recommended Turtle Wax Ice, but I'm not really a fan of it for my car in general. I am trying to understand the chemical differences between Ice and, say Meguire's NXT synthetic wax.
