Tiny Rock vs 80mph moving windshield

Question to those who had their windshields replaced: are the a-pillar covers attached via clips that you pop off or do you have to open the door and get behind

they have to be removed i will post pics later.. make sure if u do get it replaced they dont scrape the crap outt the paint like they did mine

Thanks! Looking forward to the pics.

If I do have to get mine replaced I would much rather remove the a-pillar covers and cowl myself and just have them put new glass in and me put the rest back myself for the exact same reason you stated - no scuffed paint.
