The Z Emblem

There are probably a few threads with the how-tos on this, but I'll fill you in anyway. You'll want to get the old emblems warm (most use a hair dryer.

You'll want to get the old emblems warm (most use a hair dryer. I'm bald so I was screwed to start with). Use some nylon fishing string and saw back and forth to get the tape to release. Don't be in a hurry, it'll come of sooner or later.

Once you get the old emblems off, I'd clean it up with some Goo Gone. The new emblems come with 3M tape already attached, so it's just a matter of peeling off the backer and sticking them on.

I see but wouldnt this fall off easily? If it was only supported by the 3M tape?

3m tape VERY sticky. I always use Adhesion Promoter that increases the bond.
