Homelink Mirror Rattle, ANNOYING!

I finally got around to taking the mirror off and trying to stop the rattle. Sad to say that I got stymied at opening the mirror up. I've just gnarled

Sad to say that I got stymied at opening the mirror up. I've just gnarled the seam all the way around, but she's sealed up tighter than a...well, you know what I mean. Sigh. What to do?
