It might be right for some modded Z's... but for mine, I wanted it tasteful, yet sporty and aggressive looking, you know? The Ti makes it look stock, but in a sporty kind of way..... like it was "meant" to be there. (same with my exhaust, but that's a diff't story )
Thanks G2Z, that's sort of the look I'm going for. "Factory sporty" lol. Most of the mods I'm doing on my Z will be very subtle and really just there for my amusement. I'm not trying to slap on every little part I see. Thanks for the advice, just need to figure out which vendor to buy from.

Ken the new knob looks great! What's prima nero? I thought mine looked dark enough maybe not?

Dang... so since you broke your strap wrench, how did you get the rest of the stock knob off? But yeah, at least you can get a lifetime warranty on the strap wrench...

Thanks. on mine there was no way in hell that strap wrench would have enough umph to turn it. It only took me 3 tries to snap the strap.

I'm having the same issue. The knob is on so tight it seems that strap wrench isnt working. Does any one have any additional suggestions to get this thing off!!!!!

Dealer or kill the stock knob by using oil filter wrench.

G2Z- thanks! it feels good too.

Prima Nero is a water bases sauce for interior plastics and rubber.
Detailersdomain sells it. It has a nice matte finish matter than aerospace303.

I used my oil filter wrench to get it off after trying three other pipe wrenches. It was seized. After an hr trying to salvage the knob I decided it was cheaper to get a new one. Hahaha
