Far toooo costly, although it's a pretty nice mod LOL.

I want to just get mine blacked out, not really interested in all the LEDs and flashing stuff, HaHa.

And since my car is a daily driver, I really can't part with my headlights to ship off for modifications.

Just ranting LOL, I'd love to do this mod, but it's an insane cost for such a simple thing

Black out with no led is cheap. 300$ for the housing.

Doesn't this involve baking your headlights in an over to separate the lenses or something?

Again it's one of those tricky mods, if you screw it up it's expensive to replace the headlights.

I know this is pretty much down to the cost of the OEM lights, and we can only blame Nissan for that LOL

its really not hard...you just have to take your time and use common sense. Also just make sure you use a good amount of sealant when you're done so it doesnt let condensation in.

Probably not bad if it's not a daily driver, or it's the cost or purchasing replacement lights and shipping those off for modifications, then doing a swap out afterwards.

Again Nissans stupid design of having to remove the front of your car to do any damn work on it (CAI intakes, headlights etc etc).

Just venting LOL, but it used to be so much easier to work on cars LOL..

Haha maybe domestics, but my old 300ZX was a pain-in-the-*** to work on, as was the RX-7.

I think the prices are pretty well inline with the work to do it. I'm willing to pay someone else to mod my lights on this car, with how expensive they are to replace.

I had no issues pulling apart the lights on my 96 Civic, but messing up a headlight on the Z is an expensive mistake.

I know right, I think the Nissan Marketing team just pulled a price tag out of their butt holes.

I'll keep an eye out for a wrecked Z lol, if I can get my hands on a cheap pair I'll do the mod myself.

It's only a matter of time before someone hits that VDC button
