This is the "dummy unit" that was removed. The differences between the dummy unit and the functional unit is primarily the lens itself and the bulb assembly.
![]() The "center" switch is the switch that controls the rear fog - it is a "heated" seat switch and occupies a space that is usually empty (covered by a "blank" switch cover - no cutting was required). ![]() Functional Unit installed but turned off ![]() This is the unit turned on - it will only operate if the car is running. ![]() These images were taken with my camera phone and not in the best lighting conditions but hopefully they are good enough to give everyone an idea of what the unit looks like installed and turned on!
