The spot is so large, I think I would make a multi-use out of it. A superbright white LED cluster for backup, a 1157 superbright red LED cluster for tail-light/braking

The spot is so large, I think I would make a multi-use out of it. A superbright white LED cluster for backup, a 1157 superbright red LED cluster for tail-light/braking and a backup camera. The LED's could be shoe-horned into the opening and easily tapped off the existing brake light wiring harness, then all you need to do is run the wires for the backup camera up to the console and connect it to your display/video input. (obviously aftermarket as well...)
