Default 370Z Foglights

Where the hell do I put fog lights on my Z?

Is this something I'm just missing?

Are the Fog lights, unnecessary?

I live in Oregon, and at times we get England-esq fog here.

I may some day want to go F/I. Do I put them in front of the intercooler?

I can see a aftermarket setup coming that puts them in the small gap of the fangs. Maybe somebody could photoshop that.

Actually, I'm pretty sure that all the fog lighting systems are actually in the headlight assembly and they're 100% automatic... Aftermarket fogs may be a bit over kill, but if you really want them, you can put them side the the teeth.

I just looked at EVO-R's site, and they offer an HID projector fog light kit. It looks fairly small, and it might fit that faux-duct area with some cutting and whatnot.

i think you're right about the mini-foglight being incorporated into the headlight. it's sweet. does anyone have any close up pics to show what it looks like? i think it resembles a triangle

Actually a DVD came with the owner's manual so I popped it in last night and there was something said about fog lights but I just can't remember what was said. So you may be right regarding the foglight being incorporated.

From what I understand, it's the led lights on the inners of the headlight assembly. My neighbor had that on his G35 MT6, and said they were 100% automatic. I'm not sure how that works, but I imagine it has something to do with the light reflection in the fog.

They G's fog lights are integrated just below the headlight projector but not automatic. The circle switch is just behind the headlight switch. I don't think the 370 has front fog lights. The owners manual only speaks of the rear fog light "if so equipped".

That's not a bad place to put the fog lights even though I personally think them as tacky. Just my

How are you coping Pushing_Tin? I know the Eugene-ish area can get some horrible fog. Have you encountered any heavy fog yet and if so was visibility bad?

BTW AK yes those look horrible. There's got to be a better way to place them around the grill and hide them. Hmmmm

Well there were only a few really bad days since I had my car and it was fine with the HIDs. I would certainly prefer to have them as my last 3 cars/trucks did, but you can get along fine without them. Hell I see old POS Subarus with one headlight cruising in the fog.
