how hard was it for you to remove the spoiler and install the new one? i saw a diy on installing it. did u follow that guide?

or should i just take it to the shop and get it installed.

edit... im computer savvy not mechanically savvy....never really done much hands on.

I had a rough time removing the oem spoiler. Just need to be very patient. I broke mine in half when I pulled too hard.

It is held on by 2 bolts 2 nuts, about 8 clips and very sticky double sided tape. Good luck.

hahahhah damn so i worked on it last night. following the diy to install one. so taking it off was super difficult. after taking off the 2 bolts and 2 nuts. 3m tape was the suck. first tried to fun it saw it off with some floss and heat...no dice...then tried goo gone.....no dice....then tried lighter fluid.....with heat from a blow drier and it started to come off...so at that point it could have been anything really. the heat, the goo gone, the lighter fluid...who knows but it was taking forever and in the end ended up cracking it so said whatever and went to town on it and just breaking it up in pieces. lol

what i wanted to know was so the stock spoiler had all kinds of extra connectors but the wholes were not drilled in the CF wing. the wing only came with 2 bolts and no nuts like the stock one and even if the nuts were there there were no holes to put them in. so i just 3m the hell out of it when i finally applied it on the logic that if it was that hard to make it come off in the first place i would be good. i also covered all the wholes with 3m tape. what did u end up doing and what was your situation with the nuts/bolts/extra connectors.

Thanks =)
