I have a Nismo shift knob and I like it a lot better than the stock knob. The Nismo knob is lighter and shorter. I do plan powder coating it silver to mach the interior trim in the car.

i kinda wanted the PWjdm, but i thought that it weighed more than the stock knob, not less. i feel like id want something heavier. i find the stock knob a little notchy as it is.

yea i was actually kind of bummed when i unscrewed the stock knob and held it in one hand with the PW:JDM one in another. no one seemed to mention it in any of the other threads.

I was also surprised by the heft of the stock knob. But I've never been a fan of the uber heavy knobs. I like the notchiness of the Z linkage, and don't think a couple of ounces either way would make a difference in how it feels.

Shift know preference is so subjective (unlike, say, exhaust systems ;-)

i just feel like they market hte pw jdm shift knob as if its heavier. i mean, i guess they are really just saying 'its just the right weight' but i find the stock knob a little light, so their idea of 'just of the right weight' might be a little too light. dunno. i feel like i might just buy one anyway.

Silver (see pic on first page). Goes great with the silver accents of the interior

I do like this knob alot and think I might give it a try. I was debating on titanium with black base or all black. We'll see what happens

Also, I read your DIY to fix the rattle. What size rubber grommet did you use? It looks like it is a perfect fit.

I originally wanted the silver knob with the titanium base, but they were out of the base. I'm good with the black base

Check out my DIY to fix the rattle some of us have had. Easy DIY.
