Easiest way to remove hamburgers?

Here's another trim tool set too:

Few bucks cheaper and they are a little smaller. I have this set too from another maker and had it first. I'd probably get this one if I were to pick one.

i don't see the point of the trim tool set, how can fishing line damage the paint? what is it metal?

I used fishing line to remove the 2.3 badge on my Mazda 3, and it scratched the paint. I don't think the line itself did it, but I think there may have been some dirt worked in behind the emblem and working the line back and forth caused light scratches.

I would not use the tools from a hardware store. You'll cause damage...Rofl.

Hair dryer + fine fishing line + turtle wax bug and tar remover = works like a charm!

They are nylon tools, I don't believe they would scratch your paint or any other surface.

I personally have never used them before but given G Fo12ce's previous experience with modifying cars I trust his judgement.

Sponges can scratch paint, those tools are meant for interior panels not to be used on the exterior surface.

The fishing line or waxed dental floss works too. I used that to debadge my car (370Z & Nismo). Just be careful with the sharp edges/corners of the lettering, they'll chip your paint if you don't pull them straight off.

As far as the Nissan badges and the tool set goes. Fishing line is fine too I'm sure. I just mentioned those nylon tools in case you have to do any prying. I thought there were prongs on the back side of one of those badges? I know on the BMW roundels you had to pry a bit to get the prongs off some grommets. Anyway, I used those tool a bunch over the weekend putting in my head unit too. My point was it's better than screw drivers if you need to leverage something on paint or interior parts.
