I really like the way the 9500ix mounts so close. I like my V1, but I am kind of tired of false alarms in the city, most of the times I just don't even use it, unless I'm on the freeway or going on a longer trip.

So do I understand you right?The V1 gives false alarms in the city?Good to know if that is the case.Makes up my mind to order the 9500ix Ecsort.Thanks!

All radar will have false positives, but the Escort system is built so you can tag a spot and it will mark it false so it does not bother you again. The V1 does not have that feature.
