I was thinking about soldering or using those butt connector. Looks hard to do because of the lack amount of room behind the headlights. Or is there somewhere else where you can tap into the parking light wire.

Thanks
The easiest place to tap into is definitely the parking light wire, however you are right about the tight fit. I cut a very small section of the wire sheath off and used a crimp connector to splice into it. Another good choice would be a quick splice connector as that will be the easiest of all and are found at local auto stores/radioshacks: Quick Splice Connector with Male Disconnector (3-Pack) - RadioShack.com

I like the JDM's on my Z.
Sure, brightness is not the best during the daytime, but they:
  • fit in the gap under the headlight
  • wrap all the way along the bottom of the headlight

I ordered my JDMs this weekend. They're supposed to be here on Thursday. I'm excited to see how they look. I shouldn't be disappointed knowing they aren't the best for DRL.
