I agree with the others. This looks so much better than the landing strip.

+1 for christian's writeup!

from NAGTROC post:

Quote:
-Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.

-Remove the front bumper

-Clean off any finger prints or oil from the surface before installation

-Install the DRL in a position where it will not interfere with the bumper fitment

-This system can be wired to the Ignition switch or the light switch (side marker)

-Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery and check that the DRL is functioning properly.

-When reinstalling the bumper, be careful to not scratch the DRL surface.

-The use of painters tape to protect from scratching is recommended during bumper installation.
...looks pretty straightforward.

ye i thought these were cool too... when i saw them on an audi.

i'm actually quite shocked so many people are into this. here in nyc, every other honda has LEDs under the headlights. this is just an led strip from what I can see, without reflectors behind them, its total fail imo.

I'm buying them.

@OP: Could you post a DIY in the first post? Or at least a link to one there?

If they are cool on an Audi then why can't it be cool on a Z?

With that said, I am interested in these only if they are bright enough during the day. I assume that they are because they are being advertised as DRL.
The other thing that I am interested to see is if they are shaped to specifically fit the contour of the lights. From the pics it looks like they are.
$99 is a bit steep for a few LED's but if it's designed for a specific application then it may be worth it.

That is as simple as splicing into the OEM parking light wires with a dedicated splice. Then you heat shrink some wrap onto it to seal it from moisture and you are good to go.

I really don't care about most of the cheaper alternatives, if this fits well and looks good, that is money well spent.
