I'd like to try these: Audi LED Strip Lights | LED Daytime Running Lights | LED Headlights

I like these much better than the greddy's, thinner also.

I was initially going to go with the Greddy's but opted for these instead.

When I ordered them I ordered a quantity of 2 not knowing they were sold in pairs. Since I had and extra pair I figured i'd try someithing out. My window tint is dark, so dark that backing up is uhmmm interesting. Wanted to see what backup led's would look like. Not sure if I like them or not.

The strips are much more affordable than the Greddy's and look great in the evening, though if you're looking for actual drl's they are insufficent in my opinion.

Well, a whole bunch of LEDs are not working on my driver's side Greddy DRL. I will be taking off the bumper soon to relocated my ambient temp sensor anyway but I doubt there is an issue with my wiring as a couple LEDs are still lit.

I hope Greddy honors the warranty!

Looks like you have some bad resistors on those strips. They are the same thing from China they sell on ebay with the Greddy name. For this reason alone I will never buy ANYTHING Greddy!

Good luck getting them to honor that warranty, or even getting a hold of them at all :ugh2:

That's what I am worried about, I haven't heard many good things about Greddy customer service. I will be checking the wiring though, maybe something on the install worked slightly loose or something. If that is not the problem, I am going to remove them as I am over the LED DRL look for the time being haha.

The DRLs are out, but VHB tape is > than Greddy DRLs. :(

I started to install a set and tested before hand and ea side had multiple diodes out.
Trashed them!

That's what it feels like, but I should have done more research before buying them in retrospect. I didn't even realize they were out until I by chance turned them on to get some light in the garage during a power outage lol. The one strip that snapped in the middle, this was the one that I literally took 15 minutes trying to remove it with a razor to leave in undamaged but the acrylic snapped immediately.

I think they look great, but I guess the novelty wore off enough to the point that I don't think I will miss them.

I snapped mine also trying to peel the VHB tape off of one side, and relocate it further down. Still works though, but POC waste of money none the less. I too will remove them soon, as I'm over the look.

Ended up swapping my greddy drls for the JDM variety and I have to say that these are 10x better for less than $40!. The entire strip is encased in a clear rubber that compressed to a very tight fit, the length was perfect and they are much brighter. The subtle look of the greddy ones was actually nice though and the jdm are slightly more visible when turned off but in retrospect these new ones are obviously of high quality where as the greddy ones upon close inspection (when installed on the car) , you could see some of the plastic and wiring which appeared to by done by hand. The construction of these is seemingly perfect and made in japan.

Anyways, here's the new pics, just check my previous posts for the old ones!
