Default Please help me decide.. CF, Flat Black..??

Hi everyone,

I rarely start new threads but I'd really like to see what people think would look best to help me decide on what to do...

So, basically, the plans for exterior add-ons to my Z have come down to:
- Doing something about the rear diffuser (most probably adding the EVO-R rear diffuser)
- Sunline Racing Rear bumper spats (flat black or CF). Will CF match EVO-R's..??
- Doing something with the front fang (either paint it flat black or EVO-R CF cover)
- Adding a front lip (was thinking about the JP USA Vizage front lip but I also kinda like the EVO-R front lip that was just shown on teaser pics)
- Doing something about the spoiler (maybe get the OEM sport spoiler in CF or get the S-Tune spoiler and paint it flat black)

WHAT TO DO..??

I'm not sure if I should go for the CF looks or if I should go full flat black on everything.. Maybe combination of both..??

For example:
- EVO-R rear diffuser flat black
- Sunline rear spats flat black
- JP USA Vizage Front Lip flat black
- Front fang painted flat black
- Nismo S-Tune Spoiler flat black

OR

- EVO-R rear diffuser CF
- Sunline rear spats CF
- EVO-R Front lip flat black + CF
- EVO-R CF Front Fang Cover
- OEM Sport Spoiler CF

OR MAYBE

- EVO-R rear diffuser CF
- Sunline rear spats Flat Black
- JP USA Vizage Front lip Flat Black
- EVO-R CF Front Fang Cover
- OEM Sport Spoiler CF or Nismo S-Tune Spoiler Flat Black

I'm going crazy with so many options.. Any ideas, suggestions, comments are more than welcome.. Feel free to chime in.. Thanks in advance!

It really depends on what you like since it's your car. One word of advice though, buy the fujimura cf diffuser instead on the evo-r version. The fujimura fits perfectly while evo-r has gaps.

I heard it fits well, but its like a one time thing. I read that since its a kinda tight fit, if you tried to remove it, it might scratch the sides of the fangs, ya know.

Do you happen to know if the CF items offered at TheZStore.com are the same as the ones offered at EVO-R.net...??

Both sites have CF front fang cover, CF mirror covers, CF B-Pillars, etc...

Thanks..

Its the Same product pretty much, I just checked the Z store link and it looks like decent quality. Its all outsourced and made in china for cheap so the quality is going to be about the same between the Z store & evo-r. I don't know if your going to do this or not, but I plan on buying the evo-r front lip and I know that it will fit with the evo-r fang cover. So for that reason I'd lean more toward evo-r. I def know how you feel tho, there are many choices out there for exterior mods and I'm still flipping back & forth myself, lol

I'll try and help you with advice the best I could tho

If the EVO-R front lip fits right in with the CF fang cover, what I just might do is:

- EVO-R CF Front Fang Cover
- EVO-R Front Lip
- Fujimura CF Rear Diffuser (as per your recommendation)
- Shine Auto Rear Spats in Flat Black
- OEM CF Sport Spoiler
- CF B-Pillars (just maybe, not quite sure..)

I think that would look really nice on my Z.. I'd get flat black on corners and CF in the middle in front and back..

As for the side skirts, I think I'm going with Stillen's, however, not sure if I should color-match them or have them painted flat black (kinda the Sunline Racing 370Z)..

And still deciding on wheels... TOO MANY choices on wheels..

Those Shine Auto Rear Spats might look alil outta place if you just leave them flat black, I'd paint them. And Idk if you really wanna go through the trouble of switching out the sport pkg spoiler as I see you already have it. If you try and remove the sport pkg spoiler there is a really good chance its going to break, just so you know. (You look at the mines CF add-on?)

Imo, too much CF on this car kinda rices it out. You really have to be careful and balance everything so you end up with a clean look, which not everyone seems to understand.

I know some people on the forum already replaced the OEM sport spoiler with the OEM CF one from thezstore.com.

I haven't read anything about the OEM spoiler breaking though.. I do know that the OEM CF spoiler will simply bolt on directly into the factory spoiler holes..

I did look at the MINE's CF lip and I think it looks OK. The screws on top of the spoiler don't convince me and I think the price is not right for me. IMO it's too much for a spoiler add-on, at least for me.. I'd rather replace the spoiler completely..

The other way I could go is put in the CF front fang cover and the CF rear diffuser and then put in the Shine Auto Rear Spats match-painted and put in the EVO-R front lip with the CF in the center and match-paint the sides.. That would look awesome too with the Stillen side skirts.. hehehe..

What do you think..??
