not difficult but a pita... if you're going back there, i recommend you do rear foglamp and rearview camera at the same time.

Yup, it's a big PITA, but not impossible. I don't know what Nissan is thinking when it comes to changing out the bulbs. Looking back, I should have changed the bulbs while installing the sub. I had to take the box out, pull the panels, and then swapped the bulbs.

With the bulbs I have in now, it was well worth it

Sometimes I think they do these stupid things on purpose (i.e. like to force you to resort to the stealership!).

only "forced" to go to the "stealership" () if you're too meek to turn a 10mm nut driver and pop some plastic tabs

some people read this and think you are removing the ground off your battery.

Hehe... forgot to share the results. It'll be nice to have some access panel to the stupid 10mm nut. The shot below is with the exposure set to the minimum setting. It's well worth the change. Hopefully these LEDs last the life of my car.

I was helping my coworker put a deck in his truck the other day and he was talking about that. "Well it says here that we're supposed to disconnect the negative battery terminal."
