yah, the a-pillar cover comes all the way down to where the hood hinge is. if you open it too wide the hinge hits the plastic a-pillar cover.

Just checked. not hitting anything

Also, you can drop the hood 3/4 way down and it will close without having to push it

Not wimps, and nothing against Ryan's company but I have seen to many hoods destroyed because of bad hood strut kits (not even the eBay kits).
I am sure these are top notch and I will be placing an order in a week.
