So I wanted to test my go pro out and decided to take set it up on my way to 7-11 haha
Shot it in 1440 cropped to 16x9 , Main test was my rode shotgun external mic mount on the licence plate other then a weird interference noise at the start in the parkade it worked pretty good. Down side is it sucked the life out of the go pro pretty quick. down a 3rd after 20 mins of shooting. gonna try and find a mic amp or possibly return this one and find a powered mic https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qso5ZUJhZuE |
Just helping embed the vid, not mine same as above. :tiphat:

Thanks man not sure why it wouldn't show up that's what the giant white space is haha I used [/YOUTUBEHD][/YOUTUBE] and all i get is a giant white box lol
Some one asked me what mic it was incase any of you are curious http://www.rodemic.com/microphones/videomicgo |
Bought the Go Pro Hero 4 the other day and did some testing with it. I used the suction cup attachment and mounted in at the top of the back window in the center, using the vertical defrosting line as point of reference.
Only settings changed were: 1080p 60fps - narrow view Up/Dn - Dn (camera is hanging upside down) Overall, love the narrow view, tell me what you think. |
I assume putting the windshield in the middle of the camera and turning on Spot will fix the brightness issue and not being able to see the road.

Ahh, just found this thread...
This weekend's contribution. Mounted GoPro Hero 3 w/ suction cup on the rear 1/4 window. |
