Default Gauging interest on new hood

DISCLAIMER: This thread is for serious track enthusiasts and ballers!

For you serious, hardcore track guys who are either building their cars into dedicated track only Z's or are dedicating themselves to serious track use with their Z I am in the process of developing very lightweight and functional products for you.

One of the products that we're looking at is a dry carbon fiber hood that would weigh in around 8 or 9 pounds. It would require the use of hood pins (as any race CF part should) and it might not be pretty but it will be incredibly functional and extremely lightweight as well as very strong and can withstand very high speed.

The hood we would build is exactly the same as the hood on our GT R race car in that it is extremely durable and lightweight. However, it does require hood pins and has no underskin.

Here's the kicker:

This hood will cost around $1,800.00 or so. It is REAL dry carbon fiber and will only weigh about 8-9 pounds, it will not need to be painted, and will work extremely well, but it's not the cheapest hood.

Let me know if you're interested!

Thanks!
