ditch the synthetic chamois. Your going to cause RIDICULOUS amounts of swirls if you use that to dry your car, since it's synthetic, it will trap the dirt as you drag it across your car. Use some good high quality microfiber towels from Uber, ShowroomFX, or even Chemical Guys. But ditch those. Trust me, the best way to dry a car is with a blower and microfiber towel blotch drying it.

When I dry my car I pat it dry rather than drag my towel across the paint. If you use the running hose trick before drying the car there should only be very small amounts of water droplets on the car.

That only works if the car is properly sealed and waxed. other then that you'll just end up with puddles on the hood and the roof.
