Default Rear reflector/4th brake light

I'm trying to remove the reflector to install a 4th brake light. I got the metal plate off but.................the %#&^ing nuts that hold the reflector/plastic cover on just spin and spin (with some resistance) without the nuts coming off. Does anyone have any bright ideas that don't involve pulling the rear bumper cover?!?

Yet another 20 min job that will take significantly longer!!

Well I know how to destroy so, I'll attack the reflector first thing in the morning. I just have to know when to stop as I can't even find the part number for the (WTF is it even there for) plastic cup that the reflector/light bolts to in case I do something stupid!!

Thanks for the help/link!

Well, after a good night sleep and some handy work with the Dremel I finally got the damned thing out without destroying anything but the reflector. I couldn't get a good enough hold of the studs so I carefully ground the grey plastic all the way around the studs and it came apart. I have included a few pics.

Someone at the Nissan factory got a little loctite happy on my reflector!!
