My car will be at the dealer next week, I'll be sure to ask. It was a no-go for the heated mirrors.

Hmm... definitely would be nice to have a filter.

Pushing_Tin 01-27-2010 05:18 PM

I'm at the dealer right now. They say there is no place to put
the filter so we are SOL.

The dealer dont know. Didnt we all learn to never trust the dealers. Only way to believe it is if fusz chimes in.

Rep points needed:

Ok here is what to do if you want clean air inside your Z.
Bought the in cabin filter at Autozone for the Maxima seems like a lot of the Nissan's use the same filter.
1.About 6 screws to take glove box out then pull hard.
2.Open the vent door be careful the tab on the left on trap door breaks easy.
3.Insert filter and reassemble had to use a penny to hold left side tab broke.
4.Breathe the Clean Air.
5.Crank up the Red Hot Chili Peppers :tiphat:

Dealer comes through with some great misinformation again.

Excellent find, now the question is what air filter. ;)

Today, there are two things that I like:

Breathing clean air and giving you rep.

+1

...so they made the slot.....but just didnt put a $10 (guessing the price) filter in the slot to make the 2010s sound good?!

Good question on why they wouldn't do that. Couldn't get the part made in time? keep the introductory cost low? Your theory? All plausible I suppose.

Well I am going to go buy one these and try to throw it in my car, seems easy enough.
Also, how much HP does the filter add. ;)

I think it will lose filtering capability.
