A few people have suggested garage door opener. This was basically what I was thinking too. Has anyone actually gone down this route? I spoke to a local key cutter

A few people have suggested garage door opener. This was basically what I was thinking too.
Has anyone actually gone down this route? I spoke to a local key cutter and they had a whole book on compatibilities between remotes and how they don't supply a "one remote opens all" remote. I might look at just adapting a button to short the button in a key chain remote to be stored under it. At the moment I'm renting so not guaranteed to keep the same garage door over the years. |
