Default Fuji Bumper Fitting Help

Hi Everyone, I picked up my new Fuji bumper from Fly1 yesterday and am trying to get it fitted before heading to paint. It seems that the white plastic pieces shown in the pictures are preventing it from sliding into place. If you have this bumper, have the white pieces been removed or do you have to surgically cut out each notch on the bumper. Any input is appreciated!

there should be slots on the top of the bumper. Not sure if I have a pic but I'll look.

I circled the slots as they are almost hidden. the holes fit over those tabs on the white pieces in your pic. I will try to get a better picture for you tomorrow, if you want. This is a Fuji bumper and not a fly1 so I am not sure how much they differ.

Thank you! I really appreciate your reply. For clarification, are the markings you made holes to fit the tabs in my red circles or notches to fit around the piece in my green circle?

Yes, I believe so. I will be pulling the bumper off tomorrow afternoon and can get you detailed pics.

When are we going to have an intervention about those CF vinyl eye lid things?

LOL! I saw a post on FB for a company that manufactures the eyelid covers, but it was like $150 for Black and $450 for CF. At that price, vinyl works just fine

I think the 3 ripples right above the light are supposed to be eyelashes?

I thought they were headlight fluid cooling ducts.

Pulled the bumper out a little bit.

Here you can see where the other tab's holes line up under the headlights.

Got the bumper on! Looks great. Thanks for your help (and sass) everyone! The next question is...How the heck does anyone drive with this thing on?! It’s so low I couldn’t get out of my driveway without scraping. Had to take the bumper off and put it on in the street We’ll see how long it lasts
