Default Window issue / advice

I have a 2018 base 370z and have encountered an unusual issue with the drivers side window. The “auto drop and rise” when opening the door will sometimes drop, then rise back up before closing. And of course, this causes the door to not close and I have to manually drop the window to shut the door.

I’ve searched the forum and done the power window reset as directed but it comes back. My problem is taking it to the dealership and replicating the problem. Sometimes it won’t happen for a couple of days. So, has anyone encountered this? Didn’t know if there was something I could reference vs leaving it having them call and say “we didn’t find anything”.

Thanks.

Apart from the window reset procedure, I would check your door switch to ensure it moves freely and is well lubricated.

I'm with Cyber370 - check the door-closed switch. FSM will have location, wiring, etc. Link in my sig.

Thanks for the responses. I wasn’t aware of the door switch. I took it out and applied lubricant. Hopefully, this will fix it.
