Default Status Spa Racing Seats

Hello. I am picking up a set of Status Spa Racing Seats this weekend and would like to know if anyone has experience installing or using these? The person I am buying them from had them in his 350z, but I'd like to hear from other 370z owners how the seats fit in the car etc.

I am 5'10, 145lbs.

Also, does anyone happen to know if 350z rails, sliders and bracket will fit a 370z?

Thanks. Any help would be appreciated!

haha yeah thank you for the links! I read through all that before I made the post. I think most people are referring to the Ring and GT seats made by Status. Can't find anything definite on the Spa seats.

FYI the Spa seats I'm purchasing are pre-Agency Power buyout. Supposedly much better quality than the current run of seats, so I'm not sure if the dimensions will be the same.

Hey!

In terms of size you will be fine.
They fit guys 40/42 waist.

It seems like the bolt patterns match up and the wiring shouldnt be an issue in terms of this.

Thanks for the input and links! I picked up the seats yesterday. Fitment around my waist was completely fine. Felt great. My waist size is 32 for anyone that reads this later on.

It was raining yesterday so I didn't get a chance to fit them. I will today. Will report back.

Attempting to use the 350z brackets. Only concern left is getting the airbag lights off. I know about using a resistor for the driver side, but the resistor + weighted sensor for the passenger may get tricky.

We should all do a meetup sometime (:

I attempted to install the Spa seats over the weekend. Turns out, the 350z bracket does NOT fit for 370z. One of the brackets is raised on one side (I imagine its lifted cause of the transmission indent on the interior of the 350z) and the brackets are too big by a half inch to an inch.

Calling Vivid today to see if they can help me find the correct bracket. From what I can tell, the sliders and rails are built into the bottom of the seat. Just need correct bracket.

Edit: I also had a hard time closing the door while test fitting. I imagine it's because of the bracket, but I'm starting to get nervous that the seat may be too big for the car.

Called vivid and they recommended Planted brackets to use on the Spa Seats.
Said they will work and fit just fine.

Anybody have experience with these brackets? I looked on the site and the way they lean to one side is making me nervous.

I have planted brackets. Using them with my Braum racing seats.

I also have an extra pair of Sliders.

The Spa Racing Seats come with built in sliders, so I'm just looking for the bracket.

How do you like them? Do they raise the seat too high? I'm only 5'10 but I still don't want to be touching the ceiling haha

And did you get the brackets directly off Planted website? For some reason, the brackets look different in the picture they use
