Default Rear Tow Hook Options

So from what i can tell our cars dont have a rear tow hook. Just a stupid cover that leads to nothing. I searched rear tow hook and didnt find many threads so im hoping some of you have suggestions / answers. Im gonna be doing time attack in 2018 and its required to have both front and rear tow hooks and im not sure how to where to mount a tow hook / strap in the rear.

Thanks ahead of time!

There is a tow hook under the passenger rear (on my RHD car). It is "close" to the rear bumper and it is bolted to the chassis frame.

Whether it is passenger or drivers side on LHD cars I cannot say.

You need to have the car in the air to see it unless your are on your knees and peering up under the rear bumper

Thanks ill take a look, depending on how far it is actually inwards of the car ill have to change it or get a tow strap.

Track safety is not a fan of tow hooks they cant immediatly get too, as i learned with my previous car.

I've been looking at the same on the G. I have to figure out something in the front and rear as my bash bars are different.

If you're after track safety I'd probably also go with a strap instead of a hook. Some racing series prefer straps over sticky outy stiff hooks.

US models have no rear tow hook, any hooks you see are the tie down hooks for transport. If you want a rear tow hook you have to make one.
