I'll probably be in the minority with my opinion, but F1 mirrors in general are a "look at me" type of mod.
Design or function wise they do little.

It is just to possess a JDM piece(I'd not do a replica)that makes it all worthwhile.

Did the same on front JDM canards on my Z33.

A rite of passage and dollars.

Yes,for us car guys--well worth it.

I think you will be in the minority too because they are very functional and not just a look at me mod. I love having greatly increased visibility not only to the sides of the car but the forward visibility of losing the gigantic oem mirror.

:iagree:

I track my car and these type mirrors are way better than oem. There is a reason these type of mirrors are on real race cars. Also if you own a Z, you are already in the look at me club.:tiphat:

:iagree: Madwi and Hotrodz both make excellent points.

JDM is definitely not a priority for me. But better visibility both forward and rearward is a huge benefit for functionality as well as safety. Not to mention the OEM mirrors are just fugly.

An fyi too is the replica evo r that have some fitment issues cost almost 400 shipped and I got mine for 500 or so shipped from Japan and fitment is perfect....

TreeSemdyZee 08-19-2017 11:18 AM

...and his old Nismo mirrors fit perfectly on my car!

I ordered mine from RHD Japan on August 10th and they are due to ship on October 6th. Not too bad.

Yep, it could take another month. You would think someplace like The Z Store would stock a few pair.

Volk Z 09-15-2017 04:03 PM

It took 4 weeks for me... It doesn't take 90 days from rhdjapan.

Volk Z 09-15-2017 04:04 PM

4 weeks from the day I ordered to receiving at my door! Literally to the day 4 weeks!
that's rhdjapan... Others may take much longer.
