Think the small vents need to be swapped side the side. The left on the right and right on the left. See how that looks. From looking at the new pictures. You have them up side down and asss backwards. :tiphat:

Deqos 11-06-2017 09:55 PM

I mean we have the vents now, and they are three separate pieces so if you don't like the placement of them where Eagle ends up installing them and you think you know a better place that would keep the heat out. Then you can always place them wherever you want they are vents after all and your hood isn't cut out in any exact spots for them yet so I especially like the creativity aspect of this project. I expect to see these vents in various spots some for looks and others for function but at the end of the day its what makes you happy

DeliriousClam 11-07-2017 07:47 AM

Oh **** I missed a lot

Chuck33079 11-07-2017 08:03 AM

I've got my credit card in hand waiting on the installed pics. This looks great so far.

And to the (possibly mentally deficient) gentleman who suggested that this was vaporware and no one would ever see these things, how do you like them apples?

I sent John an email last night letting him know that people are ready to pay money lol! I can't see them being any more expensive than the Corvette vents but it is a new product. I would guess about $400 for the whole set based on prices on his website.

She wants a new diamond ring for Christmas. If I get the ring. I will be eating ramon noodles for the next 10 years. And that means no money for me. :shakes head:

Chuck33079 11-07-2017 11:09 AM

Is she a jeweler by trade? If not, get a really good fake and claim ignorance if ever discovered. Also, that'll allow a pretty big withdrawal from the bank you can divert for car parts.

I was trying to see what type of remarks you would come up with. :rofl2:

Canolinumber1 11-07-2017 05:48 PM

These look like my next purchase. I'm interested to see if he makes a raingaurd option or if i'll need to pick up an extra hood.

Eagle 11-07-2017 07:24 PM

John hit me up today, he's coming over to pick up the hood tonight! I'm gonna talk to him about placement of the vents and see what options I have.

On a side note for you track guys...don't be like me and wait for this to happen to your fuel canister.

DeliriousClam 11-07-2017 07:34 PM

Will we be able to buy the side vents separately from the middle?

Hotrodz 11-07-2017 07:35 PM

Yo mine went at Auto Club and that is why I didn't run the last session. CJM to the rescue.

Rusty 11-07-2017 07:36 PM

That was a good post.

.......................and a bad post. :shakes head: Looks like you will be calling phunk.

Hotrodz 11-07-2017 07:39 PM

I got to dang anxious so I took dang anxious waiting on you and John. I took my hood and vents to the body shop today lol.

madwi 11-08-2017 12:03 AM

This is good news. Have a few spare dollars burning a hole in my pocket.

Eagle 11-08-2017 12:22 AM

Alright, so John picked up my hood and he'll probably have it done by the end of this week. He was pretty adamant about getting it done quickly but now that SEMA is over he's fairly free. Just in case you were all wondering, this is how he designed the vents to be placed.

Yeah, unfortunately im gonna be repairing my top hat with the CJM one in the coming weeks. Hopefully I'll be ready for Chuckwalla Valley Raceway on 11/19.

On the website the most other models are available separately.

Hotrodz 11-08-2017 07:15 AM

I got an email from John he wants me to hold off on the installation of my vents until he is done with Eagle's lol.

JARblue 11-08-2017 07:44 AM

Probably because he's afraid you'll screw up the installation :roflpuke2:

ihiryu 11-08-2017 10:18 AM
