INGS+1 Rep Front Lip

So i found a random seller out of SoCal called Bayson R that does replica knockoffs of the other knockoff of the INGS+1 front lip. $115 shipped. Polyurethane cast and very flexible. For $100, I figured I'd give it a shot. Won't feel bad if it snaps in half when I nail my next pothole. Here's some photos for you guys incase anyone else was curious about it. For $100, it's about what I'd expect. It's very VERY flexible so I am curious as to how it'll look once installed.

*EDIT* I installed a thing!!!

I'm sure it will be stiff once it's installed, and also help keep it from getting damaged if and when it hits something. Can't wait to see it installed.

wideglideleon 05-02-2017 05:06 PM

I too am interested in seeing how it looks installed.

Leingod 05-02-2017 05:07 PM

I'll update everyone once it stops raining. Forecast says next week......

s2krazyyy 05-02-2017 05:29 PM

I took a shot and got this too locally from the same place. I actually really love the way it looks. Its pretty easy to install, those big holes on the bottom are there so you can tap the screws directly in, the top part doesnt slide in anywhere but goes right under the bumper(if you have the front chin spoiler from the factory you will need to drill it out). Its flexible so its easy to work with, id recommend you pulling the bumper off to get a better fitment. Overall ill give it an 8.5/10 in terms of fitment

Would you post some pics of it installed on your Z? Thanks.

The big holes on the bottom are to clear the screw heads.

At least that's my best guess :icon17:

Leingod 05-02-2017 06:00 PM

That actually looks wicked sharp!! Can't even tell about any flex from it! Good to know about the holes as well. I'd be removing the bumper and wondering how it was suppose to slide into something else. hahahaha

wideglideleon 05-02-2017 06:25 PM

Looks good to me I just might have to get one. I like the look and the price is great.

littlejuanito 05-02-2017 09:54 PM

Will this fit the 13+ bumper.? Seems like it should as the bottom on all year models is the same

carlitos_370z 05-03-2017 06:29 AM

looks good to me! When I have my Sti I buy some parts to that seller from ebay and fit and looks great ;)

It should fit. No changes to underside. Just doesn't fit Nimo versions I guess.

Mr. Carl! How ya been buddy?!?! Haven't seen you around in a while. If I would have known you had bought from them in the past, I wouldn't have waited to order for so long. The site is so sketchy hahaha.

Hmm that's interesting. Never thought about the underside being the same. Might just have to give it a try. Would totally change the front end for very few donuts!

No argument there. Just never found anything I liked for the 13+ before. Certainly not for a reasonable price. That's one of those things that can really tie the whole car together and I didn't want anything that stuck out forward any or much further. I'll give it a shot; still need to paint my hood so could do both at the same time.

Leingod 05-03-2017 09:12 AM

I may try to remove my bumper and do the install in my living room tonight if the rain lets up.

littlejuanito 05-03-2017 09:19 AM

By the way... Is this the website where these can be bought?

yea, that's the one. I had to contact them via email since paying them through the site wouldn't even function. Talked to a sales rep named Kevin He.

I guess they're well known for Subaru mods.

:iagree: for our 2013+ 370z we dont have to much options :shakes head: thats why I ended up making my own SL front lip. If I found this front lip before, I will have it on my Z instead of making the SL hahah!

iG1-Style Front Lip (Urethane) Fits 09-12 Nissan 370z

ChaseZ 05-03-2017 09:44 AM

They are on eBay too.

iG1-Style Front Lip (Urethane) Fits 09-12 Nissan 370z | eBay

Leingod 05-03-2017 09:48 AM

Yea. I found them originally on Ebay and then they disappeared. Contacted the business about 2 weeks ago and they had sold out of the iG style front lip. Got a reply last week they more in stock and just purchased direct from them via Paypal.

I'd go through eBay if possible. Easier protection in case you get a bad lip or damaged package. They're Chinese made. Should be $115 with from shipping. Turnaround time was 6 days ground via FedEx from California to NY.

littlejuanito 05-03-2017 10:25 AM

Do you guys think this lip would look good unpainted?

No idea. i plan to throw it on first and see. It's only really shiny in specific lighting. Probably would be best with a gloss coat of some sort.

Someone tel me exactly what I need to buy to allow the front lip to screw into the bumper more secure? The self tapping screws it came with worked great other than the front left side which was about 1/4th inch gap. No amount of screwing helped and double sided 3M tape wouldn't hold.

Got to annoyed once installed. The front left had a noticeable gap between the lip and bumper. Ordered different nuts and bolts to really make it fit snugly. Double sided tape doesn't hold against the lip. Will work on it again Friday.

The good news is that other than the small Gap on the left, every other park of it fit amazingly well.

Try taking a heat gun to it to make it more pliable.
