red X of death btw... most insurance companies cover windshields, some will even repair them with no deductable. definitely worth a call to them about this.

Soooo here's an update..
I called and thankfully my insurance will take care of it with $0 deductible. The thing that bothers me is that it has to be with Glass shop approved by my insurance. Dealerships do not seem to work with my auto insurance which makes my situation more complicated. I really do not trust some glass shop that may have never worked on a 370z to put some cheap glass and call it a day.
