While the dome circuit may be one of the easier places to get power, it does have some drawbacks:
1) If you turn on the dome light to read a map while tooling down the highway, the ground illum will come on. 2) The fade in/out opera effect may raise havoc with the LED controller.

k, thanks to almost everyone's replies..
I'm sure the 3/4 of a pound that the bulbs and wiring would add will diminish the HP of this "sports car" somewhat, but I can live with that .. or at least my wife can live with it, since it is her car ... It's quick, but not as quick as any of my sportbikes...
