Illumination wires?

According to the manual (and the pic below) the Z has two pins for illumination: 8 and 9. The Scosche harness only allots one wire for illumination, and so does

According to the manual (and the pic below) the Z has two pins for illumination: 8 and 9. The Scosche harness only allots one wire for illumination, and so does the Clarion head unit I'm installing. So what do I hook up???
