EVO R DRL wiring question

Hey guys,

I'm going to be installing my EVO R DRL today and I have few questions:

-I'm planning to wire the DRL to the parking lights. Is this okay/ideal?

-Does the DRL require resistors?

And any advice on the installation is appreciated.
