Default Removing that plastic piece in order to remove engine strut

Hi all, I feel like a squid for posting this but I'm removing the engine strut brace and I'm having difficulty with that plastic piece - part of the windshield wiper cowl in the middle, that needs to be removed in order to access the two screws and the top of the brace.

I removed the two clips. Is there more? I started to pry on it and heard breaking noises !

Pretty sure it's a couple plastic clips and then some molded parts. Shouldn't need a screwdriver too much to move it.

I saw in instructions for something or other that there were four of those clips. Mine had only two, and I assumed that some older models that may have been the case. Wasn't too much of a pull to get that cover piece off for me with just my hand.

Remove the two plastic fasteners and lift up from, and pull from one of the sides of the covers to release the clips it pops into.

You won't break it, but don't go caveman on it either.

I got it. After I put a LOT of light on the situation, I was able to tell that I was pulling wrong. The piece is about half as big as I thought it was.

Thanks all.

I usually imagine the piece I'm pulling is twice its size. Not half

Glad you got it figured out
