Voltmeter not working.

I saw the post removing the dash and the one about removing them from the top but he's not worried about the factory connections since he was replacing with aftermarket.

I saw the post removing the dash and the one about removing them from the top but he's not worried about the factory connections since he was replacing with aftermarket. Is there a way to get at this by removing the center vent and cubby surround? I want to just replace that one OEM gauge if bad so would retain the connection to the pcb. I can rig reattaching it but want to retain the connector, pcb, etc.
