Fuel Gauge Inaccuracy?

update: i thought the issue fixed itself but today i thought i had 1/4 tank (4 dots) and the car shut off. had to get a friend to hook me

Jason Enthusiast Member Join Date: May 2009 Location: Florida Posts: 309 Drives: Nissan 370Z Rep Power: 18	update: i thought the issue fixed itself but today i thought i had 1/4 tank (4 dots) and the car shut off. had to get a friend to hook me up with 2 gallons of gas to get outta there. im buying that techron tomorrow. if that doesnt work then i guess i'll be going to the dealer for a new fuel sender unit or whatever the problem is. ugh, id hate to take it to a dealer! hopefully this techron does the trick!
