Default Rear Fog Light question

We have a 2013 370Z in our Body Shop. He was rear ended so we had to remove the rear bumper cover for starters. There is that lower/center mounted reflector which I am pretty sure is a rear Fog Light on Euro models. Surprising to me, there is a wire running all the way to that reflector plugged into a dummy connector. Does this mean these cars are pre wired for the rear fog light from the factory? AND, does anyone know where the other end of this wire is in the cockpit?
Thanks in advance for any insight..

As far as I know the newer ones are pre-wired and are connected to the stalks behind the steering wheel. To be able to make use of this, a JDM stalk swap is required but would switch the position of the wiper switch and the turn signal switch.

Here is a picture of mine. It is on the light stalk and turns on where it says OFF, by twisting that part.

I wish the US spec would also come from the factory like that. I wonder if using the Canadian spec stalk would work on the US spec. I would like to have a functioning rear fog lamp without having to take apart the trims.

So we just need the Canadian instead of JDM part?

Need to check the price on one of those. The fog light button for the center console is too damn expensive

We are more JDM than you are.

But you had the Nismo for all those years.

Well, until we can determine if the Canadian stalk is plug-n-play, here's the DIY that I used on my car. The only change I did was to integrate the OEM style foglight switch that installs between the seat heater switches.

DIY: Fog Light Hard Wire in less than 10 Minutes! W/Headlight integration!
