My car is still in the shop, hope to hear something today on when I can return the Rogue and get my Z back!
I don't recommend hard driving below a 1/4 tank, or you may find yourself stranded.
Car died today

I've run my gas down super-low a few times. I have backup transportation, and these are times when I know all my driving in this car will be within a few miles radius of my house, with lots of gas stations around. What I've noticed is that at the bottom end of the gauge it's either very inaccurate or very pessimistic, one of the two. Usually it becomes pessimistic after having been shut off. Like, I'll shut it off still showing 30 miles range, and then when I start the car up a couple of hours later, after a minute of warmup it's showing the "--- Miles", whereas if I had kept driving it would have kept counting down to at least 17-ish before it does that.

I know they're trying to prevent out of gas situations for idiots, but still, I'd much rather have an accurate fuel gauge.

Or maybe they know that the car is unreliable on low fuel?

Well that too, but it's not like I'm slinging it around hard corners when it's that low

Clearly, someone needs to develop an aftermarket pressurized fuel cell so we can all drive upside-down and not worry (and a dry-sump oil system too).

Maybe we can hope for a new gas tank and fuel pickup sender and line...

This is more of a common problem then Nissan is willing to admit. I had my fuel sending unit fail on my 350z (79,000 mi). It seemed to be a common issue among 350z owners. It appears they still have not corrected this issue on the 370. I hope my 370z is still under warranty if the sending unit fails on this car.

I have had the same issue with the LED's. Actually just traded in my 09 coupe for a 10 roadster and the gauge is fine so far...

I'm not that concerned about it as long as it only effects the LEDs at the full end. However, I will mention it to the dealer at my next service and have it fixed before my warrantee runs out. Don't want them touching anything unless it's absolutely necessary.

Nissan makes plenty of fuel senders. Whoever is telling you there is no replacement for your seat heater is yanking your chain. This isn't some limited 30 car run of Bugatti Veyron SSs.

I thought when the problem was a warranty issue (their fault), they supplied the rental. At least, it worked that way when I had my Acura RSX.
