Default Painting the Front Fangs

Hi all,
I was thinking about painting the front fangs to my Z. I have a 09 Monterey Blue Z and I am blacking/carbonfiber'n the outside. Wheels, Fangs, Diffuser, Mirrors, spoiler, antenna etc.

As for blacking out: What kind of paint should I be looking at for quality and shine (gloss). So not a satin or matte
Any specific recommendations from past experiences?

i had great luck with duplicolor engine enamel paint on the front of the car (no joke).

i used a low-gloss black on a fog lamp bezel on my dd, went through 3-4yrs of hard snow/salt winter and came out with very minimal chips.

you can clearcoat over the finish to get u the gloss you want. might even recommend UV clearcoat.

i recommend doing it in 2 steps (base coat + clear coat) so that you can add more clear over the black and wetsand/polish it real nice and flat (shiny) after it dries. GL

Thanks for the info Kenchan!
Funny part is I believe I actually already have a can the low-gloss engine enamel paint, I use it to repair little pieces of rim rash. It is the one that is heat resistive up to 500F

Cool I don't even have to get any paint at that point. Can just go tear up some trash bags and newspaper and get to work lol
