Can somebody with the Fujimura diffuser please clarify something for me? Does it get installed by gluing and screwing it on top of the original factory diffuser? If so, does

Can somebody with the Fujimura diffuser please clarify something for me? Does it get installed by gluing and screwing it on top of the original factory diffuser? If so, does it effectively destroy the original diffuser, assuming that the adhesive is not removable? If that is the case, I think I might experiment with coating my original with Plasti-Dip or vinyl wrap, since both are cheap and can be undone. If I like the look, I'll upgrayyyeeed to the Fujimura.
