In order to remove the solid foam bar that is under the rear strut bar, you have to remove almost all of the interior in the trunk. I just did the NISMO rear brace installation on our shop 370Z and I was forced to pull it in order to prevent me breaking the foam.
Its not hard at all to remove. The interior is a piece of cake to remove. The center panel towards the rear of the car is the hardest piece to take out. Everything else is held in with pop clips. If you have any questions about pulling the interior, let me know. I can send you a few pics of how to pull the interior out. |
