The new paint isnt 100% exact in low lit conditions either but it is about 99% accurate and that because I am OCD.... if i complained now that would be OCD, in the begining its common sense that the car shouldnt be off by that much...

if you have this problem just take it into your dealer and have them take pictures and send them to Nissan. They will do the right thing, they did in my situation...

here is a pic of before and after in a low lit condition

AFTER REPAINT, IN A CONDITION THAT WOULD LOOK WORSE BEFORE THE RESPRAY AS THE COLOR USED TO BE TERRIBLE IN PARKING LOTS AT NIGHT WITH REGULAR LIGHTING

BEFORE RE-SPRAY AROUND 1-2 BEFORE SUNSET, MUCH BETTER CONDITION THAN THE AFTER PICTURE AS FAR AS SHOWING THE DISCOLORATION
Thanks, that's what I needed to know I called my dealer about it today. I'm going to bring it in and have them take a look.

They are all off, it's hard to get plastic to match alluminum, even though they are the same paint code, there is going to be a hue differene

I wish they would have offered non-metallic colors. I would have much preferred a straight black to the "magnetic" black. If I had a white car, I would prefer straight white. The only one that really needs the metallic to work is the blue - it really does look great in the sunshine.

Good for Nissan for respraying. I don't blame you; if I had a new car that didn't match, I'd be bummed too, and I'm not that OCD...

After installing the evo-r lip, I can def tell more that my front bumper is off colored, u can't really tell during the day, but around dusk it looks pretty bad & is annoying me since I like stuff to be perfect. I'm going to have a talk with nissan about this, lucky for me I know the GM pretty well.

if it has pearl in the paint or a "flop" adjuster you aren't going to have a 100% match unless the entire car's surface its painted at the same time with the same paint. pearl coats are the hardest to match followed closely by reds and yellows as they fade the quickest.
