Just remember! If its cheap its not good, if its good its not cheap. Just because the word "replica" comes into play doesn’t mean its bad so don’t let some people discourage you. What you want to do is first make sure you aren’t the first person to purchase a replica when it comes out from what ever company. And if you are make sure you are getting your moneys worth. If you are paying anything under $1000 expect to pay at least $500 + so it fits like OEM. Its hard to say that since no such kit exists yet. Just don’t forget it costs roughly $800 to paint two bumpers and two side skirts. If you are paying well over $1000 for the kit then it should be better. $1000 is a ball park price for a DECENT kit with DECENT fitment. Just remember the more you pay for the kit, the less you'll pay to have it installed right. The less you pay for a kit, the more you'll pay to have it installed right.

The cheaper the kit is that means the less quality materials and time is going into the kit. Nobody is going to work for next to nothing when it comes to fiberglass work because its frustrating, takes a long time, needs lots of experience, and isn’t good for your health. Our company is based on fiberglass and carbon fiber work. I'd never make a kit for less than $1000 even for a ricy civic.

Sorry to keep rambling but you should also take into consideration... Most people dont think about this but the last thing you'd want to do is purchase a body kit that is worth less than the OEM body (bumpers and sides). If the OEM body costs $1100 and your kit costs $700. Not only the value of your car goes down because you modified it with aftermarket parts, but it went down even more because you basically removed $400 worth of parts from your car. You'd hold the same value if you kept your original body panels and just removed your passanger seat and threw it out. Many don't think about that but it makes plenty sence.

This statement is partially false, OEM parts are inflated for a number of reasons. Profit, manufacturer thinks it is worth more, etc. Also, the value of your car is not diminished by adding a body kit or even increased by adding a more expensive body kit. Now I am not sure what X price we should be paying for a new hood or bumper, with parts to mount (if not using stock), but at the same time it does not matter how good your part is if you price it above the rest of the market it will not sell very well.

Economics 101.
